Description
The goal was to design a minimalistic enclosure that would allow for inclusion of an arduino pro micro board (ATmega32U4) and OEM Sega Genesis / Mega Drive style controller port. The design is based on a USB-C version of the arduino board. The arduino board has a snug fit - please be sure your arduino board will fit properly. It's possible some arduino boards may use slightly different sizing.
Printing Suggestions:
Material - PLA
Enclosure base - I recommend printing this component with the flat surface on the print bed. Layer height .14mm first layer and .20mm remaining layers. I used 15% infill. I only used supports for the 4 screw hole countersinks. I did not use supports for the USB-C port cutout, however depending on your printer, you may want to enable supports for that as well.
Enclosure top - I recommend printing this component with the flat surface on the print bed. Layer height .14mm first layer and .20mm remaining layers. I used 15% infill. I did not need supports for the angled edges.

I have also created a YouTube tutorial video featuring assembly of the adapter and setup from start to finish.
