Description
This 3-piece toolset is designed to simplify and improve the assembly process of the Amazing Hand open-source robotic hand by Pollen Robotics.
Included in the set:
A 15mm cutting guide
A 25mm cutting guide
A rod/axis fit gauge with stepped calibration holes for testing tolerance and friction fit of your 2mm rod material
These tools help you cut 2mm rods to consistent, precise lengths and test fit tightness for each joint or finger before final assembly. The cutting guides can be used with flush cutters or a rotary tool for quick, repeatable cuts. The fit gauge allows you to select the best rod-hole pairing to avoid slop or excessive friction during hand operation.
