Description
In a recent vacation I purchased a miniature sword replica in Toledo, Spain. As said in the description it was a replica of the “Tizona”. The sword came with the following description:
TIZONA DEL CID
This sword belonged to de castilian knight Rodrigo Díaz de Vivar, known as "El Cid Campeador" in the XI century.
He was the prototype of the knight and loyal vassal who took part with his king Alphonse VI in the conquest of Toledo. Subsecuently he conquested the City an Kingdom of Valencia to the moors.

Since I liked the sword, I designed a small stand to display it. While making this stand, I also modelled the sword. This model is less detailed than the replica that I was trying to imitate, as its sole purpose was to help me model the stand.
That said, there are three ways to print the sword:
Regardless of the type of sword construction chosen, here are its most relevant dimensions:
Regarding the base, this is built with two pieces:
For one base, you will need one part of each.
Here are its most relevant dimensions when the sword is in position:
Every part was printed in PLA, without rafts or supports, at 0.2 mm resolution and 15% infill.
In the following image we can observe the recommended positions for each part:
For the printing of the sword or the handle in one piece, I'm not really sure how this models could be printed properly. That's precisely why they're broken down into many parts.
The assembly of the sword and stand are quite easy.
First, the sword can be assembled in three ways, depending of the constructions method chosen:
As for the stand, you only have to glue the two parts before displaying the sword:
