Minidisc Storage Box

Just a simple storage box for storing up to 66 minidiscs without their cases. This s designed to allow you to flip through them to browse so filling it full to the maximum will prevent you from doing this.

I'm not completely happy with the hinge design, so feel free to focus on this as an area to tinker with if you are so inclined. I'm going to work on a smaller (22 disc) version of this box, so will use this as a way to improve on the hinge design- I may come back to this design and update this hinge if I think it's a better design. [Update: I'm not convinced the new hinge is much better, so I'm just going to leave this as-is]

Printing & Supports
I printed in Polymaker grey PLA at 0.3mm layer heights and it looks pretty good. I did print the hinge pieces at 0.2mm layer heights as they are pretty small.

Print 1x base, 1x lid, and 2x hinge pieces. Orient the flat surfaces of all pieces onto the build plate. The chamfers on the perimeter and the handle are all 45degrees, so you will not need supports on these. However the logo on the lid and the holes for the hinge will need supports. Additionally the skirt/perimeter will need to be disabled due to the width of the print.

Build
Final assembly is by placing the lid on the base, and supergluing the lower (larger) nub on the hinge piece into the hole on the base. This leaves the lid free to rotate around the upper (smaller) nub on the hinge piece. As i mentioned above i'm not completely happy with this design.
