Description
This is a set of printables for successfully mounting 1977 Tail Lights in the 1980 - 1982 Corvette rear bumper.
Print the hole template using draft mode out of PLA. Use the small hole to secure the template to the car, so it doesn't move around. Drill the center hole using a 3" hole saw. Unscrew the holding screw, flip the template around, and screw it in again. Use ¼" long drill bit to drill out the four bolt holes. Be sure to use a long drill bit, so that you don't damage your bumper with kickback.
Hold down bolts are 1/4-20 x 3/4" Flanged Hex Head Bolts Flange Hexagon Screws
Nuts I used are 1/4-20 Zinc Plated Serrated Flange Hex Lock Nuts (BCP269)
I used M4 heated inserts on the posts with M4 bolts to attach the tail lights.
