Overview:
This 3D printable fan bracket is designed specifically for the Jonsbo NV10 Mini ITX Case, allowing you to install three 40mm fans to significantly improve airflow and cooling, especially crucial for systems equipped with a demanding GPU like the RTX 5060.
An RTX 5060 GPU generates a lot of heat. While you can undervolt the GPU, without effectively exhausting the hot air, it will get trapped inside the case and cause the entire system to overheat. This fan bracket addresses that issue by providing dedicated exhaust for concentrated heat.
The fan bracket 3D model file allows you to install three 40mm fans for the Jonsbo NV10 Mini ITX Case. The design ensures a precise and secure fit, locking into place between the existing screw standoff rails of the case.
Concept Design for Solution:
My idea was to design a 3D model fan bracket that fits precisely between the existing screw standoffs within the Jonsbo NV10 case, allowing it to lock securely in place without additional fasteners. By utilizing the existing structure, the installation is straightforward and robust.
When designing something to fit a standard size, a helpful tip is that you often don't need to take measurements yourself. Instead, you can simply use the technical data and specifications for the specific item, such as these 40mm fans and the case dimensions, to create your 3D model. This approach ensures a perfect fit without extensive trial and error or "hard work."
The installation is simple:
The 3D-printed fan bracket will lock in place between the two long standoff screw rails, providing a stable mounting point for the fans.
Print Recommendation Material:
I printed this fan bracket using ABS material. I strongly advise against printing it with PLA or PETG filament. This is because components inside a PC case, especially near a powerful GPU, can reach temperatures well over 60°C (140°F) during heavy load.
For optimal durability and longevity, ABS is the recommended material.
Fan Noise Observation:
Once installed, observe the fan noise. While three 40mm fans will certainly move a lot of air, the noise level will depend heavily on the specific fan models chosen and their RPMs. Undervolting your GPU can help reduce overall system heat, which in turn may allow the fans to run at lower, quieter speeds.
