PC Water Resevoir Cyclone limiter

These propellers can be dropped into your PC reservoir to limit the cyclone, prevent air into your cooling setup, and just looks cool!

In action :  update, some weeks later now and all air seems to be out of liquid and propellers are now rotating much more stable/consistent, really nice to look at :).

I use 1 lose-fit upwards, and 1 tight-fit downwards (no plugs) in the video. This because 1 was not braking the water enough to prevent air from mixing. I could have used only 1 with plug, but I liked 2 with the hopping motion the bottom one does :).

Upwards vs Downwards : 
This is the direction the propeller will move at when dropping it in Counter-Clock-wise rotating water.

Tight vs Lose :
I would go for tight for downwards propellers. Tighter gives more resistance and has less change to get stuck. 

With Plug : 
This version has a little plug in the middle that blocks the water swirl from forming downwards. This enables you to rotate faster (like using only 1 lose fit upwards propeller). 
!!! When using this on a downward version, check if the plug never gets sucked down by the pump/exit hole and blocking your water flow. In my reservoir the propeller can't reach the exit pathway so it will never block, but yours may not keep the propeller at distance. Test this :) !!!

Printing Info : 
- use a materials that is stable in water (I used PETG).
- use support from build plate only. 
- optionally add more part cooling to make support removal more easy.
 

Why I made it : 
I made this because the EK reservoirs I have come with foam that you can put into your reservoir for limiting the cyclone and air mixing. But this is the 2nd time that the foam started to fall apart in my cooling system after about a year! Even with EK's own water cooling liquid. Luckily I had anticipated this already because I had the same experience years ago with an EK reservoir so I installed a filter directly after my pump. I'm really amazed EK has not fixed or removed this foam about 8 years later and people only are still reporting their systems clogging up by foam that is falling apart inside your water loop!

So I needed something to stop the cyclone pulling in air into my system. Not only is air in your water loop not nice looking and makes noise, it also can quicken your wear on your water pump as these often use liquid bearings that don't function as good when air is getting in.

And what is EK thinking?!? with their cursed PE foams that are still included?
