Description
This is not actually a “printable”. It needs to be machined from aluminum, but I thought it is somehow related to 3D printing and Prusa printers.
I designed this to optimize the rigidity on of the Y axis on my Prusa i3MK3S+. I wanted to try this despite of the bearing system being overdetermined. Additionally I wanted to try IGUS drylin bearings.
I machined one prototype but never got to tesing it on my printer. For now just treat this as experiment. Once I have some results I will update this print.
Machined from 6mm aluminum on my Stepcraft 600 black edition.
