MaggieFrame 130x130, 320x195 to 100x100, 180x130 adapter bracket - Brother PR/VR

The MaggieFrames are extremely useful when paired together with the Hooping Station.

But they have the downside of getting detected as the “wrong” frame size which can lead to crashes when not careful.

We didn't want to risk crashing the shiny, new and very expensive embroidery machine in our makerspace from oversight, so we decided to adapt the frames so that they fit the detected frame size.

Brother's 100x100mm frame is the next closest frame size to the 130x130mm MaggieFrame and only requires a new set of slightly shorter brackets to be autodetected.
You just have to replace the metal brackets on the MaggieFrame with the printed brackets.

I also plan on making a model for a 300x200mm frame that reuses the magnets from the 320x195mm MaggieFrame so that the big frame can also be used without risking crashes.

Update 2025-08-02: added brackets to use the 320x195mm MaggieFrame as an autodetected 180x130mm Frame.
