Description

If you print labels for shipping as much as I do, then you will appreciate not having your labels roll around on the table and getting scrunched up when they're pulled through the label printer. This provides a solid base for the printer, keeps your workspace neat, ensures smooth label feeding and changing rolls is simple.

Hardware needed:

  • 2x 608 bearings
  • 2x M8x40mm hex head bolts
  • 4x M8 nuts

Assembly:

  1. Press bearings into place until they are centered in the hole of the sleeve. (you may need to use a socket and a hammer to gently tap it into place)
  2. Feed the M8 bolts through each of the spool holders, install a nut, and tighten until the  head of the bolt is fully seated, then back the nut off slightly to relieve excess pressure from the spool holder. (just needs to be lightly snug)
  3. Install the bearings/sleeves onto the bolt and install the second nut and tighten it against the bearing. Bearings should spin freely.
  4. Put your label printer in its spot, plug it in, put the holders in the label roll and slide the squared sleeves in the slots on the base and you're ready to print!

PRINTER AND LABEL DIMENSIONS:

I designed this specifically for my label printer (Vretti D463B) but should work with other label printers with similar dimensions. The slot for the printer measures 185Lx85Wx30mm deep. The diameter of the label holders are just under 26mm.

Thank you and enjoy!
