Spacer Ring for Philips Hue Recessed Spot (White & Color)

I designed this simple spacer ring for the Philips Hue Recessed Spot White & Color because I noticed some unwanted light leaking between the fixture and the ceiling. This ring closes the gap and gives a much cleaner, finished look.

It can also be useful if the mounting hole in your ceiling was cut too large—this ring helps cover the excess space for a more professional appearance.

I printed it in matte white PLA with supports, so the visible front surface gets the smooth texture of the print bed, which closely matches the finish of the Hue spot and ceiling. The result blends in so well, it looks like part of the original fixture.
