Lithophane Box

Ich habe eine Box für Lithophane entworfen. Die Lithophane sind leicht wechselbar in dem man sie einfach von einer Seite hineinschiebt. Super geeignet wenn man gerne etwas Abweschlung hat. 😉Bietet sich auch als tolle Geschenk an.

Hinten ist genug Platz für den LED Treiber. Einfach hineinlegen und kann mit der druckbaren Platte geschlossen werden. Auch einfach zum hineinschieben. 

Es gibt 2 Modelle als ganzes. Im Slicer splitten und zusammenkleben. Ich habe keine Verbinder vorgesehen.

Für die Beleuchtung habe ich ein WS2815 mit 60 LEDs pro Meter benutzt. Ist aber komplett übertrieben. Man braucht nicht wirklich einen Farbwechsel bei den Lithophane. 😅 Ein LED Band mit 3000K ist völlig ausreichend. 6 Streifen mit je 49cm werden benötigt.

Die Lithophane habe ich bei ItsLitho • Free Online Image to Lithophane Maker gemacht. Meine Einstellungen sind auf einem Foto. Die Angaben können übernommen werden. Eventuell müsst ihr die Min Thick und Max Thick einstellen. Je nach LED Band stärke und Filament. Und die Qualität wie ihr möchtet. 

 Meine Druckeinstellung:

1. Litho_Box - 0,4 Düse, mit Supports, 2 Wände, 15% infill, Prusa PLA Galaxy Black
2. Abdeckung - 0,4 Düse, mit Supports, 2 Wände, 15% infill, Prusa PLA Galaxy Black 
3. Lithophane - 0,4 Düse, ohne Supports, 1 Wand, 100% infill, Extrudr PLA NX2 weiß

I designed a box for lithophanes. The lithophanes can be easily swapped by simply sliding them in from one side. Perfect if you like a bit of variety. 😉 Also makes a great gift!

There’s enough space in the back for the LED driver. Just place it inside and close it with the printable cover plate. This also slides in easily.

There are two versions of the model as a whole. You can split them in the slicer and glue them together. I didn’t include any connectors.

For lighting, I used a WS2815 strip with 60 LEDs per meter — but that’s definitely overkill. You really don’t need color-changing lights for lithophanes. 😅 A simple 3000K LED strip is more than enough. You'll need 6 strips, each 49 cm long.

I created the lithophanes using ItsLitho • Free Online Image to Lithophane Maker. My settings are shown in a photo. You can use the same values. You might need to adjust the Min Thick and Max Thick depending on your LED strip brightness and filament. And of course, set the quality to your preference.

My print sttings:

Litho_Box – 0.4 mm nozzle, with supports, 2 walls, 15% infill, Prusa PLA Galaxy Black

Cover plate – 0.4 mm nozzle, with supports, 2 walls, 15% infill, Prusa PLA Galaxy Black

Lithophanes – 0.4 mm nozzle, no supports, 1 wall, 100% infill, Extrudr PLA NX2 White
