Description
Housing for my BRUH inspired Temperature/Humidity/Motion sensor backed by an ESP8266 (NodeMCU) controller. Designed to fasten together with M3 bolts/screws
Thingiverse now only lets you post 500KB sized photos...? So heres an imgur album to help understand the build https://imgur.com/a/eHFrXjB
BOM:
I made about 10 of these sensors and revised the print each time until I got it real nice. This is that outcome.
Note: I did rip the pre-soldered pins off the DHT sensor so that it would nestle nicely in the bottom portion of the sensor. And the thin layer in front of the nodeMCU was so that it could have as little blockage as possible for wifi, as well as keep a nice air pocket around it to minimize heat buildup. Additionally, the USB wall charger was torn apart and I simply hot glued the portion that held the AC prongs onto the cutout "ledge" on the lid piece. Seemed to work fine.
