Description
I've been using the excellent “Last Spoolholder You Need (LSUN)” for years now with my Prusa Mini. You have to print the “big roller” to be able to handle 2.5kg or 3kg spools, but the problem then is that smaller spools can sort of travel back and forth on the roller during the print, since it's so wide.
I've noticed the filaments I use come in widths of ~4cm (small), ~8cm (standard) and ~12cm (large). So this remix adds a bump so that one side is around 4cm and the other around 8cm, and now you can place the spool on the appropriate section. It does a better job at constraining the travel of smaller spools while still accommodating larger ones.
In theory, if a 12cm spool is really full then the bump can interfere with the filament. I've never used a spool with so little clearance, though.
This remix is just a small slicer-level change, just added a pair of cones to generate the bump.
