Bluetooth hose

Introduction

We all know that carrying full, heavy watering cans, buckets or hoses is a boring job that only causes back pain. Because I have to water a lot of flowers in my garden I decided to find a solution to this problem. After months of designing and making prototypes I have finally made a functional one that can be released  to the world.

Printing

Rotate adapter so the Bluetooth symbol will face the printing bed. There are little overhangs at the top but they don't need supports. I printed it with 0.2mm layer height and it fits perfectly to Gardena hose. You can put a little gasket on top so it won't leak but it isn't necessary.

Connecting

Firstly connect this adapter to hose connected to your water source. Than Turn on your device supporting bluetooth 6.4 standard communication. When you browse available devices you should see a device named Hose, click on it and pair it. Now you can open water valve to hose and water should start spout out of device you paired hose with. You now carry only small and lightweight device like your smartphone or smartwatches when you are watering plants.
