Description
Please refer to AP.Engineering page Shrinkage Calculator for how to use it and the very important spreadsheet.
The reason for the re-mix is for some minor issues I had with setting up an imperfect CoreXY (Voron2.4r2) that left behind an elephant's foot and the top layer had overhangs. That made the measurements unreliable if the callipers touched the 1st or last layer. Also, after removing from the print bed I could not tell any more which is the left and right side of the model. So I did the following modifications to the AP.Engineering model:
Removed all Chamfers and added 1mm vertical external Chamfers only. If your object's 1st and last layers overhang more than 1mm, further basic tuning required before shrinkage calibration.
Removed the “gaps” inside the corners of the squares, to get a better edge for the calipers.
Added the text L (left side) and R (right side) to the squares for orientation purpose.
NOTE: Some users believe that the original version is better if your Pressure Advance calibration is not correct, v10 will show inaccurate diamond corners. For my printers was the other way around.
