Description

I wanted to put the Henry Vacuum cleaner on a shelf in the garage, and was concerned that when moving items about there would be a possibility of it landing on the floor (or a car)!

I created these "wheel-cuffs" for the front two caster feet on the Henry, making it easy to drop them into their respective holders. The design should work for any Numatic vacuum cleaner with swivel feet fixings 200mm apart.

For those working on a bed length smaller than 300mm (like myself), I have included a pre-cut version that is under 150mm. The cut was made in the slicer software using the standard dovetail joint. Really useful feature.

The underside of the holder has two sets of 5x 4mm holes for either attaching some rubber you may have available to help with the grip, or you can print out the included TPU covers.

I printed my holder in ASA as that's the filament I use the most. This gives an advantage of moderate heat resistance without sagging. I doubt there is any need to worry about any of the standard filament types for this print. The holder is under a small amount of load from the vacuum, 15-20% infill and a couple of walls should be fine.

If you've found this model useful, please consider buying me a Ko-Fi / coffee.
