Description
A way to mount your filaments to the wall or ceiling. The spools can freely spin around the "rod" which means you can leave the filaments spools in place. You just have to grab the end of the filament and load it. The printer will have no problem spinning the spool as it extrudes the filament.
The ideal distance between the rack mounting holes is 7½" (190mm). For loading clearance be sure the top of one rack frame and the bottom of one rack frame is at least 2¼" (58mm).
This system, for me anyways, is working flawlessly. Obviously, if you're mounting to drywall you'll want to use some anchors. Keep the infill at 15% which provides enough strength but also allows for some flexing to help with loading the third spool on the rod.
I hope it works as well for you as it does for me.

This filament guide helps to prevent any snags that might happen if you have your racks spread out. https://www.printables.com/model/1372809-filament-guide
