Dell Dock spacer for E5450, E5470, E7240 E7440 etc.

IMPORTANT: while this part fit perfectly for me, people in the comments report it's too long. It was printed on my old printer that perhaps wasn't well calibrated, so if it doesn't fit please try the remixed version that's a little bit shorter.

Why?

Dell's dock compatibility is legendary, basically everything with an E-port will fit in every version of an E-port dock. However, Dell moved the docking port a bit further back on their newer laptops, requiring a spacer ("XJD0R") that costs ~13 euros.

Considering the fact that for 13 euros I can make almost 20 spacers myself, I decided to do just that.

• Tested with E5450 & E5470 laptops on PRx03 and XX6F0 docking stations
• Laptop can still be docked with a small USB dongle in the back

Instructions

Print with the top side down so you don't have to bother with supports.

Even though I did not use any resources from Fyrftd's model, I did use some parts of his design. The main differences are in the support structures, mounting point and actual width of the spacer.

I don't know if it qualifies, but I marked this as a remix just in case.
