Description

I needed T-Track/Slot Rail for my Little Proteus Powerfeeder by Al Ladd Woodworking to fit nicely on my Delta T3 fence.   The T-track sizing was taken from the Powertec 71568 32" Miter T-Track with Miter T-Bar.
The Powertec T-Track is about 1-¼" wide.  These rails are 2" wide and fit centered snugly on top of the T3 box tubing between the aluminum faces of the fence.

Rail sections are 2" wide x .53125 tall and are 2", 4", or 8" long.   They can be fastened with up to 10-24 machine screws or similar.

Also including a tapered slider, 90degree top bracket and Fence Face bracket.  All accept 5/16 threaded bolts with 1/2" heads.

Printing:
If your saw is located in a location that does not receive direct sunlight or in a very hot climate… PLA should be fine…  Otherwise, this is what high temps does do to PLA. I had been using these for months, until a very hot week of found its way into my unconditioned workshop and destroyed the PLA rails.

So, I re-printed in PETG - which slides much better than the PLA version. ASA might be a good choice as well.

Installation:
Print 4 of the rail sections (32"). (or however many you want)

With the sacrificial faces of the fence installed, place the 4 sections on top of the T3 box tubing, between the fences.  Make sure the Rail sections are abutting each other firmly.  Make any necessary adjustments.

Clamp and mark one of the end T-Slot rail sections. Drill and tap the box tubing and secure the T-Slot rail with 10-24 machine screws then proceed to the next rail section, abut, clamp, drill/tap down the tubing.
