DEPRECATED DESIGN
Please be aware I am not developing this design any further.
My design for the Ender-5+ X & Y-Axis belt tensioning.
Could not find anything that I liked so I designed it for myself using the stock bearings. The internal slide requires light sanding to make it glide nicely but if you have any lead screw grease add that as I have to help.
Rotate the M8 nylok nuts to fit the rebated nut guide but do not do up tight otherwise the whole thing will lock up and not work. The M4 bolt hex head is housed in a hex slot to prevent spinning when adjusting the thumb nut.
I printed this in PETG but I'm sure it's stong enough in PLA or PLA+ too.
Y-Axis parts list.
2x M8x35mm hex socket bolts
2x M8 nylok nuts
4x M8x0.5mm shims (you may not need these but they are to fit either side of stock bearing when installing)
2x M4x25-35mm hexhead bolts
2x M4 wing or thumb nuts (photo shows 'T' slot nut used as thumb nut)
2x M4 flat washers
8x M2x10mm self tapping hex socket screws
The printed parts.
I have tested the X-Axis tensioner the new STL files are good.
X-Axis parts list.
1x M8x35mm hex socket bolts
1x M8 nylok nuts
2x M8x0.5mm shims (you may not need these but they are to fit either side of stock bearing when installing)
1x M4x25-35mm hexhead bolts
1x M4 wing or thumb nuts (photo shows 'T' slot nut used as thumb nut)
1x M4 flat washers
4x M2x10mm self tapping hex socket screws
Plus of course the printed parts.
Works for me.
