Wago 221-2401 Inline Lamp Cord Extender Enclosure

250812 - Update - the v04 enclosure moves the screw bosses 4mm closer together for more room to route the cords.  Support may be unnecessary, if you have good bridges, or if you don't mind pulling out a couple of filament squiggles. 

Use this box to house two Wago inline connectors. With some lamp cord and a replacement plug you can extend existing two conductor cords to fit your needs. You can also shorten existing cords without the need for additional cord or a replacement plug.

Uses two M3 x 12mm button head machine screws and nuts to hold the box together.

I used support in the screw head & nut recesses.

As a bonus there's a filler plug that can go on the wire before attaching the plug, if it's like the one pictured

Make sure everything is unplugged when doing electrical work! Use flame resistant materials such as PC-FR or materials with high temp ratings for high voltage applications.
