Description
The tool works great in silk PLA and PETG-CF so far. It's a quick print, coming in under 3g of filament.
I printed both materials at 0.20mm layers and arachne wall gen on. The silk was printed with “strong” 6-wall defaults, and the PETG-CF with 4 walls and 50% gyroid infill. Plastic isn't ideal for anything that's seized up from overtorque, trail damage, sealant, etc. That said, I think stiff PLA actually has a slight advantage over PETG.
The teeth on the nut wrench and pressure release wrench openings are not critical as everything should be low torque. Do NOT over-torque your presta parts! The size of the valve core hole worked well for me in both materials, but dependent on your nozzle, material, and calibration you may find hole compensation helpful to either open or tighten the hole very slightly.
Bonus model: standard presta micro tool that I made while brainstorming the combo wrench.
V0 had longer handles, but I went for the short option to clear spokes better.
