Description
Simple changes to the standard case - Parts are for LH, please mirror in printing to make RH parts.
Now compatible with AliExpress PCB's too!
Heat press inserts are removed and replaced with holes for a countersunk Polyfix or self tapping screw between 2.5x10 and 3x16 in size - I use these but any similar size self tapping screw should work.
You will need 11 screws per side, 22 total but you might be able to get away with as little as 5 per side depending on use.
Some small features have been removed or simplified in the hex grid for the keyboard base to make a simpler print.
Parts required to make each side of the case are 1x base and 1x Top frame, then you have a choice of Covers for the RP2040, from “no cover top frame” which continues the case edge but leaves to top open, all the way to "full MCU cover" with two options in-between.
MCU Cover Heights are Increased from standard, The PCB's I've tested with have collisions with the standard covers. I'll post a more drastic update with some bigger changes to fix this soon.
*Less screws is really less components - Its the same amount of holes at the moment.
