Description
The lead screws on the original Ender NG 3 v1.2 rides on three 22 mm bearings, which sits on a 1 mm x 2 mm stop. This means that the entire weight of the bed, and all the Z motion is literally held up by a 1 mm printed stop. On my printer, after about 2 months, these stops were breaking off my bottom frame parts.
To fix this problem, I made this mod, which makes the stops 3 mm tall, and 5 mm wide. This is much stronger, and should not have this issue. On the photo included in this model, the original part is on the left, and the updated, stronger part is on the right. Notice how the stop is already beginning to fail on the left model.
With the 3 mm stops, the Z belt is raised 2 mm throughout the bottom frame parts. This model includes updates to each bottom frame part to accommodate for the 2 mm raised height. The spacers have also been resized from 7 mm to 5 mm, and three are needed (one for each pulley). Any parts not in this model are compatible with the original Ender NG 3 v1.2 parts.
