Gridfinity Ikea Alex Drawer - Light Locking Base - 10x7 Grid

I got tired of my Gridfinity system shifting around when I open/close my drawers, and most of the grids people uploaded are for the shorter Alex unit. This set is designed to fit the IKEA Alex tall drawers. The tall Alex (9 drawers) is more shallow than the short (5 drawer) version.

Included in the files is a calibration/test print. Look at my uploaded calibration picture and try to get as close as possible to the provided dimensions. Comment/message me if you have questions or need an adjustment made.

Details:

• Grid size: 7 wide by 10 deep
• Base unit dimensions: 42 mm width by 42mm length (standard)
• Base clearance: 0.25 mm
• Base plate type: Light
• Base plate section clearance: 0.4 mm

Added the following padding to make it snug in the Alex drawers:

• Left: 1.70 mm
• Right: 1.70 mm
• Back: 2.50 mm
• Front: 0.00 mm

Notes:

• There are 6 parts to print, plus one calibration/test print.
• All parts are 170x170mm or less, to accommodate smaller printers.
• Designed for the IKEA Alex tall unit (9 drawers) not the short deeper unit (5 drawers).
• Look up "704.834.34" without quotes on the IKEA site to see the exact unit I designed this for.
