Small Translucent Light Bulb

This print was designed just for fun, and to see how a 3D printed lightbulb would look. Turns out it looks pretty much like a regular light bulb! For best effect, print in two colors, solid (ideally gray or silver) for the first 10mm, and translucent filament above that. To produce the detail of the threads in the base, the model was printed at .1 mm layer height. The walls are pretty thin (1.5mm), but it is not printed in vase mode.

The video below shows that you can place an LED inside the bulb to generate a pretty glow.
