Description
This is my first aeroplane model I made when I was still learning the basics of CAD. I based the plane model off the airbus a320 series, however some features (especially the front) aren't exactly identical to the a320. Was just a fun project I made as a replica model.
The file I've attached is the plane as a whole, but I cut the plane into sections on my slicer to make it the right size to print. The joining methods I used were mainly superglue, electrical tape, and using 3d printed dowels.
In my photos, the plane was spray painted silver to try and hide the tape around the joints, however the tape absorbed the paint and came loose. I would not recommend spray painting over electrical tape. for future use, I would recommend superglue or using a hot glue gun. or melting the PLA joints together (soldering iron or plastic joiner)
