I just took @zepedro_2908833's model and added a thread.

"Custom Bike Valve Stem Caps — “Brick Galaxy” (Star-Wars-inspired)

Bring a little Force to your wheels! These Star-Wars-inspired LEGO-style valve caps snap personality onto your bike in seconds. I modeled a set of 7 mini “heads” and turned them into functional caps so you can mix, match, and squad up your spokes.

What you get

• 7 unique mini head designs (fan-made, brick-style)

Presta and Schrader variants for each head (separate STLs)

• Solid single-color versions + AMS colored versions (link below)

Why they’re cool

• Instant bike flair without adding weight (each cap a few grams)
• Grippy contour for easy on/off with fingers
• Flat bases and clean edges that take paint pens beautifully
• Designed to print fast and sturdy; no fiddly supports on the faces or no supports at all if you're brave enough !

Printing:

• Material: PETG (best for outdoor), ASA/ABS (heat-proof), or PLA+ if you won’t leave the bike in hot sun (Pictured are printed in PLA)
• Nozzle: 0.4 mm
• Layer height: 0.16–0.20 mm for smooth curves
• Walls: 3–4 perimeters
• Top/Bottom: 5–6 layers
• Infill: 20–35% (higher if you want extra thread strength)
• Supports: Off for faces; on (touching buildplate) only if your printer struggles with the internal thread overhang or just off
• Orientation: Print upright with the thread opening down (best strength on the “neck”)

Tip: If threads feel snug on first use, screw the cap on/off a few times to “burnish” the print lines. Don’t force it. It should pop right in.

Post-processing / Color

• Wipe with IPA, then hit details with paint pens or acrylics (eyes, panels, helmets).
• Lock colors with a light matte clear coat (PETG/ASA friendly).
• For two-tone looks, pause at a layer change and swap filament.

Installation & Compatibility

• Thread on finger-tight only; these are dust caps, not torque parts.
• Check wheel clearance (especially on kids’ bikes and tight fenders).

Notes & Safety

For cycling safety, avoid oversized caps on bikes with very tight brake/fender clearances.

Periodically check caps after rides or washing.
