Description
Continuing with flying skulls as I work towards making beholders I wanted to get the snake heads created and attached. The new thing I learnt while working on these was using constraints to force the snake heads onto the end of a curve. Very neat and definitely something I will be applying to other models.
I've created a 25mm Medium and 50mm Large variant of each of these. They're scaled up from the other flying heads as well so much much larger than a regular creature skull. I only make 8 snakes and kept their positions the same across each head so there isn't much variation there but they still seem pretty neat. For the open mouth skull I put a snake in it (kinda like "put a bird on it but snake in it).
Overall a fun model to work on and I kept this one as a No-AI model set. The file size is a bit larger than my usual because I wanted to keep as much snake skin detail as possible. I did do a decimate on these so we'll see if that impacts print quality negatively at all.
