Description
There was a print similar to this on another site some years ago but it was for a FoodSaver model handheld vacuum that got really expensive for a bit and is now no longer sold.
I wanted one but not enough to buy one of those so i went looking for another option. I got on the web and found one at a decent price ($23) with good reviews. Its seems to work well and comes with some bags of its own but i like to have the option to be able to use regular freezer bags. It took me a few versions but this one works pretty well for me, especially for a 20 minute print.
To use the device you press down with your thumb and index finger a bit to seal the sides of the “straw” during air remove then slide the device out of the bag and press the seal as it exits.
I print them at .12 layer height so there is more layers on the straw which is failrly tight tolerance between the top/bottom and the air tunnel.
