Elegoo - Centuri Carbon - Fan Mod (V3)

This is a model I created for the Centuri Carbon, If you have one of these machines you know how loud it can be while printing pla, since you must keep the lid off and the door open. This mod allows you to print fully enclosed no matter the material! PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, PA12 - No problem, I recommend printing out of PETG. This mod significantly reduces noise coming from the machine and allows you to have the machine in the same room as you when printing. 

Parts you will need

2 - 24v - 120mm x 25mm fans

9 - 8mm x 2mm magnets 

2 - 80x40x15mm HEPA FIlter (if you print the AFS)

The Build

MAIN Panel Assembly - 

After printing all the necessary pieces all 4 of the panel are pressed together the magnets are glued into their respective holes and you are ready yo remove the side panel of you centuri carbon to install you new panel, all OEM side panel screws will work with the new panel. Take off the cover for the stock case fan and blower fan, undo the wiring and take out the splitter pcb take the main 4-pin cable and re-route it outside of the case fan enclosure. Take the pcb and plug in the 4-pin main wiring, install the 2-120x25mm fans into their repective places inside the chamber and connect them into the splitter pcb IMPORTANT!! Make sure you connect the top fan into the case fan port and the bottom fan into the blower or (aux) fan port. It is just as imperative that you make sure the fans are oriented correctly. The bottom fan should be pushing air into the chamber and the top fan should be blowing out. and then you can install the wiring cover and your set! 

Air Filter system and Fan cover are optional but you will need them if you want to print ABS or ASA the air filter system or (AFS) goes on the outside of the enclosure and magnets in place over the top fan.

The Fan cover magnets in place and goes over the bottom fan to help with chamber heating for ABS
