4 Inch LCD 480x320 Case and Stand

A nice desktop case/stand for a 4" LCD TFT screen.  My use case was for displaying various info from a Pi5 via python scripts.

The “Box” is designed to accept (4) M3x6mm brass threaded inserts.
The screen sits flush inside the recessed section of the box.
The box is deep enough to keep the DuPont cables on the back of the screen (if using pins).
There is a cutout to allow the cables through the bottom of the box.
The box will need small supports for the cutout.

The “Lid” fits a particular way.
It has a cutout to allow room for the solder joints on the side of the circuit board.
This allows the lid to sit flush on the circuit board without undue pressure.
Be sure to print the lid with the cutout facing upwards (negating the need for supports).
The lid will require (4) M3 x 8 screws.

The “Stand” just allows the case to be displayed at a pleasant viewing angle.

*** ASSEMBLY ***

1. Set the box on a flat surface.
2. Install the threaded inserts (use a soldering iron; place the tip through the insert; and gently push into place).
3. Run any wires into the box and connect to the screen.
4. Place the screen into the box.
5. Place the lid over the screen noting the orientation of the lid (cutout over solder joints).
6. Use the M3 x 8 screws to hold everything together.
7. Optional - Print and place completed box on stand.
