Ryobi 38" electric mower deck guide wheel

This wheel is functionally a replica of the original part with some aesthetic changes for the purpose of matching or exceeding the strength of the original wheel. It prints in two separate parts, the wheel and the spacer, to improve printability, reduce filament waste, and reduce wear spots. I designed this wheel to be printed out of polypropylene glass fiber 30, PPGF30, as I believe the original to also have been made out of a glass fiber. But as a result of polypropylene's notorious shrinking, I made the spacer too big on the Z axis and increased top and bottom layers so that I could sand it to the correct fitment in relation to the hardware in post. You can adjust the spacer yourself in your slicer by adjusting it along the Z axis, and I would recommend you doing so if you are to use a filament with less violent shrinking characteristics than a polypropylene fiber blend.

In addition, I have also designed an extra durable version, the blue wheel in the photos, and printed it in 75D TPU, in an attempt to make the wheel virtually indestructible, as I was able to break the previous design printed from PPGF30 with regular, rigorous use on unleveled ground.  The spacer is the same, but the extra durable wheel takes more filament and a bit longer to print.
