Description
A small sleeve, easy to print in TPU, designed to clip onto your bike cable and protect it from rubbing — preventing the housing from wearing out against the frame or other parts.
The model is made for 5 mm diameter housings, but it can easily be scaled in your slicer if needed (tighter, looser, or even lengthened depending on your setup). The measure tool (U) is very helpful for this application.
I’ve printed several of these for an old bike, and after a few months of use they still hold up well, haven’t shown any signs of wear, and effectively extend the life of the cables.
