Description
There are already models available to do the same basic thing, but I wanted to fix the magnet holes, and it was just easier to make my own. Also, I didn't add the ridge for stacking since it would be pointless on this model. This will hold one 5C collet vertically, for use in a drawer of medium to tall height. If you need to put them in a shallow drawer, there are other units available on Printables which will hold your collets horizontally. Most of my frequent use collets are on a wall rack above the lathe, but I recently added some collets for square material which will get stuck in a drawer, which is the reason I made these.
Like my other Gridfinity models, the base is altered to accept 6x3 magnets as a press fit, with the upper surface of the magnet holes modified to make the slicer bridge across correctly for a clean result. The pictured units were printed out of Polymaker ABS on my Voron 2.4, using a 0.6mm nozzle at .3mm layer height.
