Description
I printed this mounting parts on my Bambu Lab P1S with the following settings:
Material: ASA from Bambu Lab in Grey
Nozzle-Temp: 270°C
Bed-Temp: 100°C
Support: Yes (tree)
Nozzle: 0,4mm
Layer Height: 0,2mm
Infill: 20%
Wall Loops: 3
Bottom and Top Shell Layers: 5
Print Speed: 200mm/s
Outer Wall Speed: 150mm/s
Initial Layer Speed: 50mm/s
Fan Speed: 30%
Brim: 5mm
On our camping caravan the original mounting parts did break over the time.
This is a common issue.
I have chosen ASA because of the direct influence of the sunlight over a longer period.
And to be honest, the bambu lab gray fits almost perfectly to the original bumper parts.
I decided to slightly modify the original parts.
I added a fillet to the shaft, to reduce stress points in the model.
I also added a chamfer to the top surface to make it easier to print upside-down.
I will change over the time all the original parts. Than nobody will see a difference anymore.
