Description
Bring new life to second-hand mini PCs with this custom 3D-printed enclosure.
This project turns an HP ProDesk 600 G4 Mini (and similar models) into a sleek retro-inspired console — perfect for emulation, streaming, or even as a living-room media PC.
Can be printed in pretty much any filament, except the rear IO shield. The air through the grille will get warm, and may cause warping.
I used PETG without issue!
There are some large flat parts in this project, so make sure your bed adhesion is solid.
Use some glue stick if the corners are lifting.
Only the front plate requires support around a small ledge. Use support painting to ensure you only get support in the right place.
The filter is designed to have the filter material embedded mid-print. Pause the print a few layers in, place your filter material over the partial print, secure it with magnets or tape, then resume.
The faceplate component can be printed, or laser cut. You can also purchase pre-cut and finished timber faceplates from The Stock Pot website.
The printable faceplate and .dxf file (if you have your own laser) are included
Assembly is pretty self explanatory, the tutorial video will take you through the assembly process.
