The Elegoo Centauri Carbon is a fantastic machine – but let’s be honest, it’s pretty dark inside. Inspired by the amazing original design from JesusFreak (huge thanks for the great model! 🙌), I created this remix with one big upgrade:

👉 A dedicated slot for standard 8mm LED strips – no glue required.

Why is this important?
Most LED solutions rely on adhesive tape, which is far from ideal in a heated chamber. When printing high-temp materials like ASA or ABS, the glue often softens and eventually peels off. With this integrated slot, your lighting stays secure no matter what you’re printing.

On the mainboard under the machine you'll find an unused slot dedicated to a separate light source. Originally it's an Molex connector, but this one is hard to get. So if you use the JST and cut of a little bit from the sides, it will fit perfectly. It's important that the led strip runs on 24V!

🔹 Printing Notes

Supports required – I’ve added manual supports to keep them minimal and easy to remove.
The cornes are still the same and untouched. You need all four of them, because they are not totally equal.
A pre-supported 3MF file is included for convenience.
I printed the Polymakers HT-PLA, because of its heat resistance up to 150°C. Ideal for printing ASA or ABS with high chamber temperatures.
