Description
This is a remix of the Sovol SV08 MAX Tophat that allows you to install the BTT 7" HDMI Display in the top-right corner of the enclosure.
If you already have the original tophat installed, you only need to reprint the modified pieces from this repository. These parts replace:
the top right corner piece
the front right panel piece
Bill of Materials (BOM)
Besides the original Tophat BOM, you will need:
1× BTT 7" HDMI Display

4× M3x8mm SHCS (to secure the display)
6× M3 heat-set inserts (extra, or reuse from the original tophat build)
🔧 All other hardware is reused from your existing tophat.
Installation Notes
Remove the original top-right corner and front-right pieces of your tophat.
Install the new printed parts provided here.
Press in 6 heat-set inserts (or reuse the ones you already installed).
Mount the 7" BTT HDMI Display using 4× M3x8mm screws.
Reuse the remaining screws to secure the tophat panels together.
The HDMI cable exits through the front-right corner of the tophat and routes neatly down the side, directly to the HDMI port located on the front-right side of the printer.
That’s it – your SV08 MAX tophat now has a clean, integrated 7" touchscreen on the front-right corner, with cable routing designed for the factory HDMI port!
