Description
This printable sauna ladle is designed for both durability and ease of assembly. The ladle consists of two 3D printed parts, the scoop and the handle, and a wooden round rod (Ø 21 mm) that serves as the shaft.
The parts fit together with a simple friction fit connection, meaning no glue or screws are required. Just slide the parts onto the wooden shaft and your ladle is ready for use.
The model in the pictures was printed using PETG CF (HDT 68 °C) at 33% infill, with the fuzzy skin effect applied for a textured finish. Surfaces that were in contact with the print bed maintain the look and feel of a textured PEI sheet.
Printing tips:
Supports are required for the scoop part.
Print the parts in the orientation they open in your slicer for the best results.
PETG or more heat resistant materials are recommended for durability in sauna environments.
This is a functional yet stylish project that combines 3D printing with traditional wooden craftsmanship, perfect for your next sauna session.
