Roof Rack Mounting Foot Lexus

This is a replacement mounting foot for a car roof rack system, designed to be a durable alternative to the original part commonly found on Lexus vehicles. It may also be compatible with other roof rack systems that use a similar mounting mechanism, but please verify the dimensions before printing.

This model is intended as a functional part, designed for strength and a secure fit to get your roof rack back in service.

Printing Recommendations:

Material: For durability and UV resistance, printing with PETG, ASA, or ABS is highly recommended. Do NOT use PLA for this application, as it can deform in the sun and is not strong enough.

Infill: Use a high infill percentage for strength, at least 70% or higher. 100% infill is ideal for maximum durability.

Layer Height: 0.2mm for a good balance of strength and print time.

Supports: Depending on the orientation, supports may be necessary for the curved underside and overhangs. Tree supports are recommended for easy removal.

Orientation: Print the part in an orientation that maximizes strength against the primary forces it will experience.
