Description
The Bigscreen Beyond 2 with eyetracking is a bit warm on the face. This allows for airflow while still blocking light from entering. This is only the template stamp, you'll have to supply your own face scan or, at the very least, estimate the curve of your face. Then combine with that with this template to get a vented bespoke face gasket.
This template is made from the Cushion Support Assembly model from Bigscreen projected onto a sketch and extruded back so it should exactly match the holes for eye modules and USB ports. The eye holes are a bit wider than the default cushion which is helpful for me.
The magnet pegs are made 1mm short to fit 5mm by 1mm magnets.
My printer can do 55 degree overhangs (or so I thought), so all the vent zig-zags are 54 degrees from vertical, copied and pasted over and over, and then cut into the template. Each zig-zag is positioned in such a way that light needs to bounce at least twice to get in.
