Fender Soapbar or Gibson P90 Pickup Cover

Printable pickup cover for a Fender "Soapbar" pickup, essentially a P90 pickup like Gibson would make. Modeled from scratch however I used the linked adapter as a sanity check that everything should be in the right place.

Depending on your guitar you may need to slightly adjust the dimensions of the cover itself or the hole sizes/dimensions in order to get a proper fit. I modeled this in Blender 2.93.4 and used Boolean operations to create the various negative spaces needed, so these can be adjusted independently. If you do need to make modifications please leave a comment to your updated version or feel free to remix.

The version named "Swinger - with - cutout" has a notch taken out of one size to accommodate the pickguard on a client's Diaki Tsuneta signature Fender "Swinger" model so that it can be fitted without modifying the existing cutouts, which are very snug against the original metal covers.

I recommend printing this in your highest quality settings for best results, or using a tough/non-brittle resin on an SLA printer. Some sanding or post processing is likely still going to be required.

How I Designed This

Modeled in Blender, the following modifiers were used and should remain in this order for it to work. The shell thickness can be adjusted using the "Solidify" modifier settings. If any other boolean modifiers are added they should go to the bottom of the stack for best results, I believe. To "disable" any of them such as the large cutout uncheck the "Realtime" toggle as indicated in the below picture.

After making any size modifications select only the main shell of the pickup cover and export to STL using the settings like in the below picture.
