Description
The universe is full of thingys that should be put into suitable boxes but... where are the boxes when you need them? They are missing, but this is not a problem if you have a 3D printer and FreeCAD.
In my case the thingys were the collets, the cutting discs and the drill bit sets of my Proxxon IBS/E drill. Or the nice set of Simple 20mm x 40mm spacers 1mm-10mm created by @hiroken55555_401132.
Since I started learning FreeCAD, this was a great opportunity for creating my own design. And here it is - the full parametric slide box.
The variables allow to configure the exact inner size of the box, the wall thickness and the tolerance for the sliding box lid. On my Bambu Lab X1C using eSUN PLA+ a value of 0,22 mm is fine, but maybe you have to adjust it to satisfy your needs.
