SE3D Toolhead Cover for Elegoo Centauri Carbon

Before you grab this version, check out v2.0. 

This is a redesigned toolhead cover for the Elegoo Centauri Carbon that improves both print quality and day-to-day usability.

Key improvements:

• Reduced weight vs. OEM cover → helps cut down ringing/ghosting.

• Optimized airflow → larger front intake, heat break vent, and top vent for better cooling.

• Optional front grill (print & glue) if you prefer a more closed look.

• Access hole for filament tension adjustment without removing the cover.

• Flexible mounting → rear installs with the three OEM M3 screws, front can use M2 self-tapping screws, OEM M3 screws with washers/spacers as guide pins, or both.

• Fan installs using M2 × 20 mm self-tapping screws with M3 washers (protects alignment pins and reduces weight).

Printing notes:

• Prints in about 3 hours at 0.2 mm, 2-wall settings.

• Dovetail pins are weak along horizontal layers → for more durability, print at an angle or handle with care.

• I used Polymaker PolyLite ASA for strength, heat resistance,  and clean results.

Installation:
Swap out the OEM cover, reuse the three M3 screws at the back, secure the front with your preferred method, and reinstall the fan with the recommended M2 screws. Takes just a few minutes.
