Description
The Vgrow is great. But the LED is fixed in the top part
So the 100W LED runs on 80% even in early veg phase.
It gets quite hot in there(over 28°C) not every kind of plant like such high temperatures.
So I was looking for a solid solution to rise the plant
Plus I can save some money on my electricity bill :)
And here it is, the fully 3D-printed riser!
fully rised I could run the LED with 25% until the plant gots to big(about week 4)
Now I switched to the mid level, LED on 50% and 38 DLI(check with photone app)
works with:
-original cord irrigation
-dripping irrigation(be carefull with the cords)
-DWC Unit
print fits perfectly on Creality K2 Plus
Use 0.6mm nozzle(or even 0.8mm), it gets more stable(and print is obviously faster)
I recommend using scarf seam for smoother z seam
I recommend to print in petg, but pla will work too
V1 (30.08.2025) - working release but a little wobbly
V1.1 (30.08.2025) - added tighter mid plate & spacer
Future plans:
-better fit of parts (quite loose at the moment)
-Base plate with screwable spacer or one parted
-several spacer lenghts?(comment what u need)
-smaller version for h2d(but of course you can just scale it down)
-Better pictures - (Scrog net already installed xD)
