Magnetic School Bus Dry Erase Marker Holder

Magnetic dry erase marker holder. Holds up to 8 dry erase markers on a magnetic whiteboard. Can also be placed in the marker tray or elsewhere if your whiteboard is non-magnetic.

Parts print in place without supports and snap together.  Multi-color side prints using color swaps so no AMS, etc. required.

Glue up to 10 - 15x2mm magnets in the back to hold the bus firmly in place. A strip of 2mm craft foam (or similar) may be glued to the back if the holder still slides with magnets alone. It may be possible to use fewer magnets when using the foam to add grip.

Sample printed in PolyMaker Black PLA, Printed Solid Yellow Bird PLA, Bambu Lab Basic Red PLA, and PolyMaker White PLA

Side and top stripe printed at 0.2mm layer height and 15% gyroid infill. Body printed at 0.2mm layer height and 20% lightning infill (to save weight).

Body & Top Stripe: Black
Side: Yellow, Black, Red, White (start with yellow, switch to black at 1.2mm, switch to red at 2.2mm, and white at 3.4mm

Assembly:
Slip bottom of side into the groove on the body and slide it into place. Once the side is in place, snap the top stripe onto the body to hold the side in place. Glue may be used if desired for a more permanent assembly. Glue in up to 10 - 15mmx2mm neodymium magnets and allow to cure fully before attempting to mount on white board.Magnetic dry erase marker holder.
