3D Frame Wall Art – Battle City (Tanks 1990)

Bring back the legendary NES classic Battle City in a whole new way – as a 3D-printed wall or desk decoration!
This print is designed to imitate a 3D pixel-art effect and can be arranged as you like, making it both nostalgic and customizable.

🎮 About the Game

Released in 1985 on the NES/Famicom, Battle City (Tanks 1990) is a beloved retro title where you defend your base (the eagle) from endless waves of enemy tanks. Destroy brick walls, sneak through bushes, avoid water, and use steel for protection while blasting your enemies. Simple but incredibly addictive, it’s one of the true evergreen classics of 8-bit gaming.

🛠 How It Works

• The frame is built from individual 3D blocks that perfectly fit into a 13×13 grid – just like in the original game.
• After printing, the blocks can be attached using:
  • Double-sided tape
  • Glue
  • Magnetic tape (recommended for maximum flexibility – simply place a magnetic sheet under the black background).
• You can freely rebuild, redesign, and move the map however you want – or use my included sample layout.

🔩 Printing Tips

• Make sure your filament is well calibrated (or use a reliable generic profile such as Sunlu).
• Each type of block can be printed separately or grouped by color on a single plate.
• Copy & paste parts as needed to print multiples of the same block.
• Empty black squares (background) do not need to be printed.
• Colour list (12): Black, Brown, Silver, White, Grau, Dark Blue, Light Blue, Dark Green, Light Green, Yellow, Red, Orange
