Ludwig Wingnuts for Vintage Cymbal Stands

Male and female wingnuts with the black plastic handle, in the style of the vintage Ludwig wingnuts.

These parts are partially 3D-printed. The threads for the males are metal threaded rods, secured into the printed part with epoxy. The threads for the females are heat-set metal threaded inserts, secured into the printed part with a soldering iron.

Thread size is 5/16-18
Recommended insert length is .5"
Recommended threaded rod length is 1.25" or 1.5". I have 2 models for the male threaded rods, depending on what size rod you are able to source.

Note: Also included is a file named “LudWingCap” which is a model that was deigned to fit the original threaded Ludwig rod. It is useful if you have a broken wingnut or just the insert from one, allowing you to utilize the original insert without having to source a new one.
